Giants Manning Deal Not Imminent
Both sides are likely to come to terms on a new face at some point, but not as soon as this week. According to someone who spoke with Condon, Manning and the Giants are not currently close to a deal.. Mike Garafolo of the Star-Ledger, reports the New York Giants QB Eli Manning and not closing on a new contract extension, in contrast to a previous report. Manning agent, Tom Condon, is headed to the Pro Bowl for the week.
